As summer draws to a close, the warm weather has well and truly set in, so we wanted to create a candle that encapsulates lazy summer evenings, refreshing summer fruits and sweet florals. These three things are why we love Australia in the summertime, so we wanted to bottle it up, create it in candle form and share it with all of you. Before you know it, autumn will be here, so treasure the last few weeks of summertime bliss with Fig and Pink Grapefruit, our sweet Club Candle of the month for February.

It has top notes of pink grapefruit, watermelon and lemon. These three combine beautifully to bring a refreshing scent which is essential on a long summer day. With notes of cool, refreshing watermelon, ice, sparkling water and freshly squeezed lemons to create the ultimate refreshing fragrance. One smell of this candle and you’ll be transported to the pool deck, enjoying a pink cocktail, cooling off in the water, living your best life!

The middle notes of fig, peach and plum bring in some exotic elements to make this one a little more special. They are bright, fruity and uplifting fragrances, just what we need to keep us going sometimes! These notes combine nicely with the violet, amber and musk base, which round out the blend with their rich, sensual woody notes. It is a super refreshing fruity candle with a sweet kiss of florals.

We also added a bit of extra sparkle this month with a gorgeous label for the clear glass vessel. We love how it shimmers majestically when the light hits it and it gets even better at night with the light from the flame illuminating the entire jar. One of my favourite things about this candle is the way we get to watch it burn through the glass, right to the bottom. There is something mesmerising about watching the twinkle of a flame; this month, we get to appreciate it on a whole new level. 

You’ll feel like it’s summer all year round when you light this candle, as it has quintessential Australian summer vibes. Enjoy!
